Hello, and welcome to my website. I wanted to share a little about my journey as a stained & fused glass artist.
I've been working with stained-glass for over 30 years. Like you, I wanted to jump right into creating a beautiful piece of art like those of Tiffany, Stuben and Chiluly. Very quickly I realized I needed a teacher. My stained-glass supplier soon became my best mentor in honing my art and expanding my experience. That first piece still sits in my bedroom today, as you will find your first pieces may not be perfect but just as cherished.
As your teacher and mentor I am hear to answer those questions and share with you the tricks of the trade my mentors in the art shared with me. Everything from what color does the foil look like when done, to how to cut inside curves of glass. You can access my "What Tools to Start Stained-Glass" video below.
I want you to feel comfortable as the artist you are becoming. This trade is a skill and although many see it as a gift, if you have the ability and will to learn it can be your gift too.
Lastly, a little about me...
I am a resident of Hershey, Pennsylvania. (The Sweetest Place On Earth) I have been the proud fur-father of several beautiful Boston Terriers. When I'm not creating glass works of art, I enjoy visits from my daughter and grandkids, and weekends camping with my partner in upper New York state.
